RoshanayRah-EN;؛

Iran (IMNA) – The parliamentary election in Iran is scheduled for March 1, 2024, and the campaign officially began on February 22 and will continue until February 29. More than 15,000 candidates will compete in the elections, with 290 representatives to be elected for a four-year term.

The meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei is seen as an opportunity for the first-time voters and families of martyrs to share their views and concerns about the elections and the country’s political future, as they are considered key segments of Iranian society.

The election, which is held every four years, will be closely watched both domestically and internationally, as it will be an indicator of the political preferences and sentiments of the Iranian people, as well as the extent of public participation in the electoral process.
