Iran (IMNA) – Araghchi warned that Tehran will respond firmly to any hostile or improper political moves. In a phone conversation on Saturday night, Araghchi and Grossi reviewed recent developments in nuclear negotiations and sanctions relief, as well as the newly released IAEA report on Iran. Araghchi emphasized Iran’s ongoing cooperation with the IAEA, stating that all nuclear activities are conducted under strict agency oversight and in full compliance with the Safeguards Agreement, with no evidence of diversion of nuclear material or activities.

The Iranian foreign minister called on Grossi to accurately reflect these facts in his reports to prevent misuse of the IAEA by certain parties pursuing political agendas against Iran. He also requested that Grossi highlight Iran’s cooperation during the upcoming Board of Governors meeting and warn of the consequences of politicized actions. Araghchi stressed that Iran will take appropriate measures in response to any improper political moves by European parties, holding those who misuse the agency for political purposes fully accountable for the repercussions.
