Tehran (ISNA) – Badab Soort Springs in Sari City in Mazandaran province are several travertine springs with entirely different colors, smells, and tastes, surrounded by springs covered with wild barberry bushes. The unique orange color of these springs results from the high concentration of iron oxide sediments. After Mount Damavand, Badab Soort is the second natural site of Iran that has been registered in the list of the country’s natural heritage.
