Iran (IMNA) – Raeisi underscored Iran’s commitment to offering enhanced access to clean and economically valuable natural gas to regional nations. He highlighted that Iran aims to develop bilateral and multilateral cooperation with countries across the global gas market, particularly focusing on neighboring countries from Central Asia to the Persian Gulf and its eastern and western neighbors. The Iranian president emphasized the potential for collaboration among GECF members in both upstream and downstream sectors of natural gas, as well as in trade.

Raeisi extended invitations to international investors and GECF member countries to participate in Iran’s energy projects, with a particular emphasis on the natural gas industry. The GECF, established in 2008 following an initial proposal by Iran due to its significant natural gas reserves, consists of 13 permanent members and seven observers.

Iranian President Raisi Condemns Israel’s Actions in Gaza, Calls for International Action

During a recent address, Iranian President Raeisi strongly criticized Israel’s ongoing actions against Palestinians in Gaza, labeling it as a violation of humanity and morality. He condemned the support provided by the US and some Western countries to Israel, referring to it as a form of genocide in the region. Raeisi proposed practical solutions to halt the violence, emphasizing the need for international intervention to hold Israel, the US, and their allies accountable in an international court.

Raeisi called for harsh consequences, suggesting that Israel be expelled from the United Nations and subjected to global sanctions by nations and governments. He urged Muslim nations to cut all ties with Israel immediately. The Iranian president warned of repercussions for those who remain silent on the situation in Gaza, stating that Palestine serves as a symbol of humanity, morality, and conscience within global society.

Highlighting the resistance of the Palestinian people against the Israeli regime, Raeisi urged all nations to support the oppressed population through any means available. He criticized the United Nations Security Council for its inability to establish a ceasefire due to US support for Israel. Raeisi stated that the Israeli regime’s formation aimed at perpetuating Western dominance in the region and emphasized the need for international action to address the crisis in Gaza.
