RoshanayRah-EN; Karaj city in Alborz province was selected among the 12 final cities in the 8th selection period for introducing book-friendly and book capitals of Iran and was introduced as a book-friendly city.
This ceremony was held at the Azadi Tower Conference Center in Tehran with the presence of;
Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance
Mehdi Jamalinejad, Deputy Minister of Urban and Rural Development of the Ministry of Interior
Yasir Ahmad Vand, the cultural deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the head of the book and book reading events policy council
Ismail Janalipour, general manager of assemblies, organizations and cultural activities and secretary of book and book reading events
