Iran (IMNA) – The Israeli regime launched strikes early in the morning on various locations in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, despite prior warnings from Iranian officials urging against such provocative actions.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Command reported that the integrated air defense system of Iran successfully countered the Israeli attacks, resulting in only limited damage to several sites. The statement emphasized that further investigations are underway to assess the full extent of the impact.
Iranian state media noted that sounds resembling explosions were heard in western Tehran around 2:15 a.m., followed by reports of anti-aircraft fire in eastern and central Tehran. Citizens were urged to remain calm and to follow updates through official national media channels while disregarding rumors from hostile sources.
